Yet another deviation suggested by me has been awarded the high honor of a Daily Deviation!
Congratulations to *MakaniRobinson whose
was featured by ^trevg today, 2012-06-23. So if you haven't already, go check it out and give Makani some well deserved love!
Some of you may recall that back in April I suggested
by *Tomstrzal and it was featured by ^Cymae.
I occasionally suggest pieces and so far the moderators of DA corroborate my tastes. I am really very glad to help out other artists and spread the da love. There are so many deviants out there with so much undiscovered talent that deserve more recognition for their beautiful artwork, and I am thrilled to help bring them more exposure. Almost every day, I peruse the new deviations and that is how I discover some of the best work on DA. When suggesting a piece for a DD, I look for artwork that demonstrates originality, good overall composition, emotion, and of course, aesthetic appeal.
If you are unaware with the process of how to suggest a DD or who to contact, check this link and be sure to bookmark it for future reference.
FAQ #18: Who selects Daily Deviations and how are they chosen? This article outlines how DDs are chosen and lists all of the moderators for each gallery. To suggest a DD, locate the appropriate moderator and send them a note with a link to the deviation and an explanation for why you think it should be chosen.
That said, my dear friends, if you have any pieces that you think are stellar, shoot them on over my way! I frequently compile features and sometimes suggest some of them for DDs. Stay tuned for some summertime features in journals to come.
I myself have never received a DD, but it is my hope that if I continue to support other artists and suggest their work, maybe one day someone will do the same for me.
I hope you are all having a wonderful summer and are making art to your heart's content.
Best,
Courtney
